Rugby Nova Scotia: Rookie Rugby Clinic

Newbridge Academy was fortunate to have representatives from Rugby Nova Scotia facilitate an introduction to a very fast growing sport in our region. Three members, who are all currently heavily involved members of the Rugby community as coaches or players, introduced students to the sport of Rugby through hands-on, engaging activities. Students were learning how to complete a proper pass, score a try, use space properly, and to rely on teammates for success. The students use of teamwork, as well as previously learned athletic skills, allowed for great participation and fun by all!
